We have been using this while on vacation at it has been really nice to be able to put my iPod up where I can see it while we use it to listen to music and be able to make changes as needed.

the holder can either be mounted to the dashboard with the included 3M adhesive mounting disk or the suction cup can be used directly on the windshield. I like the versatility of these option but do not like to have anything sticking to my dashboard so I mount mine to the windshield. I have had issues in the past with other suction cups holding for a little bits and  then they fall off and scary me. This one has not done that yet even driving down the bounce roads we have been on recently.

The green pad holds very well if the the back of the phone or case is flat and doesn't have bumps or texture. I tried using it on the clip of my iPod holder that was curved and there was not enough area to hold it. It is also easy to clean and reapply the iPod when the sticky pad gets dirty

Overall the moving joints of this universal holder work very well as well and it is very easy too get the angle that I want just by loosening the knob adjusting it and tighten it again.

This is a nice little humidifier. It fits well on my desk and is pleasant to look at. Once thing that you need to realize is that it is not battery powered. it has to be plugged into a USB port. I will be taking this on vacation and using a power bank when no other USB port is available.

Sumpri Camping Gear has made a great addition to my camping, hiking and emergency preparedness gear. In a compact pouch I can carry a pocket chainsaw and around my neck I can carry the flint and steel with a whistle.

The other day I used the chain saw to start cutting up a tree that I have had for over a year. It is a few inches in diameter but was fairly easy to list with the saw giving some pressure to cut through fairly quickly. We are talking under 5 minutes and a whole lot less effort than using a hand saw.

The flint and steel spark easily once the back coating is shaved off and will be nice to use over matches. IT is great because it stores inside its own case that acts as the handles.

These lanterns are smaller then I had expected  but end up doing their job well so it has not been a problem. These light actually pack a lot of light into a small space which when you are trying to light a tent at night I turns out to be a good feature after all.

I love that they are powered on 3 AA batteries. rechargeable along with their high efficient LED’s will make these a long lasting, very economical camping lantern. We plan on also using these for power outages since they light a a room fairly well are easy to move or carry and have a stable base.

I love that the light can be stretched or shrunk to allow more or less light out as needed. The light switch is the opening or expanding of the light so there is no concern of them tuning on with out being used.

BBQ Grill Mats with Free Bonus Kitchen Scissors

I have been wanting a set of these for a while and finally got some. The mats are fairly flexible and smooth. All will never have to scrape my grill again. All I have to do is lay them down and grill away. It should be noted that the box says that they should only be used and low and medium temperatures. What measures that I am not sure. I guess just not turning my gas all the way up is what they mean. 

 Last summer I tried grilling vegetables and it did not turn out well. A good amount fell down into the grill and a lot were not cooked very evenly. These mats solve both those issues by covering the grates and allowing me to still or move things around with ease. My grills was smaller than the two mats laid side by side so I had them overlapped. This is not a good idea because they will start to fuse together. Luckily mine only did a little bit and I was able to get them apart without much issue but I will not be doing that again. 

Clean up is easy since they can just be thrown in the dishwasher although I like to rinse them pretty good in the sink first. Once they come out of the dishwasher and are dry they should be rolled up and put back in the box for storage or put back on the grill. They should never be folded per the instructions on the box. 

The multipurpose kitchen shears are great. Not only do they look a lot different from the rest so that they stand out as mine from the others we have in the kitchen but their functionality stands out as well. It has multiple cutting surfaces and uses. One of the best traits of these has nothing to do with cutting and everything to do with cleaning them. This is the only pair we have that come apart into two pieces making them very easy to get every part of them clean in the dishwasher. 

This is a great product set and I will be loving them for a long time to come.

This full spectrum grow light has 200 LED's. I am using it to grow plant in my cubical at work since the 8 foot high wall block a good amount of the sun coming in through the windows at the other end of the room.

The bulb gives off some heat in the lamp around the bulb but the plant and cabinet surface they are on does not feel even warm so that is good. Even the papers next to the light do not fell at all warm so that would lead me to believe that this bulb is not a fire hazard.

For comparison of size I have included a picture of another bulb I am trying out which is smaller and only has 28 LED's.

Great option for an office plant, May 9, 2017

I love this grow light. I am in a smaller office with 3 big windows to let in the sunlight but my cubicle walls are 8 feet high so plants don't get the light they need. This bulb plugged into a $5 desk lamp from the DI allow me to now have pants in my office.

Originally i had the light pretty close to my first plant but I then realized that the heat that come off of this bulb would be too much so I adjusted my lamp to much higher. This bulb comes with a built in heat sink so that helps to dissipate the heat. The bulb feels hot but the lamp cases doesn't.

I do want to mention that you need to be carefully when unscrewing the bulb from the lap. If you are not you will end up opening the bulb and leaving the screw part in the lamp like I did. It is a simple fix of screwing it back together but once you have disconnected the power and taken the rest of the bulb out of the socket.

I also have a second grow light that is much bigger and has 200 LED's on it that I am trying out. For comparison of size I have included a picture of that as well.

I have been looking for a universal tablet/iPhone stand for a while now and this one looked interesting enough to purchase. It describes it as being able to use with almost any tablet or phone. That was exciting along with being “Multi-Angle Adjustable Foldable”. The one angle that is not really adjustable is the back leg area. It is either standing up with the longer back leg or almost flat with the shorter inside back leg. I wish it had handles in between for a more customizable use. The description says the “15 and 55 angles are adjustable” but it is one or the other and nothing in between.

Another thing that is could use improvement is the height of the bottom shelf legs where the device sits. If I am using my iPod in the portrait position then I cannot charge it without it being on a ledge if I was going to use the included “FREE GIFT - 3 Feet QX cord - 2 IN 1 Apple and Android Retractable USB Cable” since the connector is too tall for it. A normal Apple lightning cable is flexible enough to use but it does put strain on the cable where it bends. (See pictures for a better idea.). It am using devices in landscape position that the power ports are on the side and I have no issue.

I really like the free cable. Besides the fact that it can’t be used in the portrait position with my iPod it works well for all other applications. The multi-use end for Apple and Android is great along with it being retractable which allows me to only have to carry one charging cable with me in a compact space.

One last item to note I feel is worth mentioning is that if your phone is in a clipped case then the stand may not hold your phone at a good angle since there is not room enough at that small of a width for the clip to fit between the two legs. My iPod has a fitted case that then slides into the clipped case so this is not much of a problem for me.

Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Overall it is sturdy, compact and resists slipping with the silicone feet and inserts so it does the job well. I give it 4 stars.

This is a fun little light! It is plug and play and play and play. LED’s on the side change and combined colors for a cool light show and the gyroscopic mirrors intensity it. It comes with a remote to change the settings from a single color to random to make a lightshow to the music.

The stand comes with a holder that can be bolted to a rack or screwed to the wall or ceiling. The holder also allows it to sit on a surface. The screws on the side allow it to be tightened to the desired angle.

A few changes I would make is either get rid of the lower two rows of buttons that indicate they control a music device or make them function. The online listing has no mention of this feature working or not but the assumption from the picture would be that it works.

The remote is kind of cheap and the buttons don’t always respond. Either that or the sensor is not obvious enough to make a connection. It also is not powerful enough to be 3 feet away and change the settings.

Overall this product does what it says it does but has some quirks so 3 stars for it.

Easy@Home 50 Ovulation and 20 Pregnancy Tests Kit

Kit includes 50 ovulation tests and 20 pregnancy test

Pros: One of the things I like most about these tests in the packaging. Each test comes in an individually packaged, sealed envelope. The envelopes are small and can be easily slipped into a pocket or purse. They are economical and thankfully not bulky.

Cons: While the pregnancy tests are easy read, the ovulation ones are not as easy. The lines, control line included and faint and on a few of them I could barely see the control line. It would sometimes frustrate me and I would repeat the test with a new strip in an attempt to get a clearer result.

That being said, I would still buy this product first if it is comparable in price to the ones I can find at the dollar store partly because it is so much more convenient.
