Through the Rug 2: Follow that Dog tenth anniversary edition

Here is another great book in the series "Through the Rug". "Follow that Dog, Book 2" is another great adventure with Alyssa and Grandma Emma as the dogcatcher tries to catch their dog Domino. True to the norm of their lives Emma gets her wish to be a singer and Grandma gets her wish to be in a cooking competition but end up with memorable experiences as they try to make the best of the situations.

This is the second book in the series that my kids have read and they loved this one just as well. It also is great for grades 2 thru 5 and my 7th grade boy even enjoyed it.  This book doesn’t seem to have as many pictures as the first but still enough to be entertaining. I also like that this is a good book to help readers transition from story books to simple chapter books. The chapters are only a few pages long so this helps in keeping their attention 9if that is even needed).

This is a book written by a grandma who loves her kids and grandkids and had them in mind as she wrote. We are so privileged to be able to have this shared with us.

5 out of 5 stars again for this amazing book in the series.

This cable (and review) is short and simple. This cable works right out of the package. This cable works right out of the package. All you have to do is unplug the power cable from the Chromecast and plug this in. Then plug the other end into the USB port. You now are powering your ChromeCast with one less cable to the power outlet.
 Overall this cable is well made with the braided rope around the cable which makes it a lot more durable of a cord. One thing to consider is the distance between the ChromeCast and the USB port. The pictures are very accurate in showing that this cable is only 8 inches long.

Through The Rug Tenth Anniversary Edition

Cooking School turned into magic. This was a great story for my kids to read. I had 4 kids ranging from 2nd grade to 7th grade all wanting to read this book. I love that this book makes all wishes come true and it is very fascinating, amusing and entertaining and full of adventures. The book is longer than most picture books which is nice because it makes it a great transition to longer book and chapter book for beginning readers while still holding their attention because it is very imaginative and fun.

Another great part of the book is that the text is an appropriate size to the reading level and that pictures are dispersed throughout the book without being on every page. I believe every chapter gets a picture and each chapter seems to be between 5-8 pages so the length or getting to s stopping point is spot on for the reading level.

I also love the cover! If is very imaginative and gives a good depiction that intrigues the reader. 

Great job! 5 out 5 stars from me but most importantly the kids.

This is the first gaming keyboard that I have purchased. My brother in law has one and I really liked the lighting effect and decided to get one for myself.
Some of the key features of this keyboard is the the all metal base which has anti-slip foam pad underneath so it stays right where you want it. I also really like the add function keys for media control and ability to dim the lighting effect, turn it off or make it “breath”. Another really awesome feature is the strong braided USB cable.

The only drawback with this keyboard is that it does not have the feet that tilt it to my more preferred angle so it only lays flat.

Over all I like this keyboard but since the angle is a big deal to me I took away 1 star to give it 4 out of 5.

I love this. I have been wanting one for a while. I looks like it has 4 different sizes but their is a recessed lip on each size to make 8 different size options. Everything from a root beer bottle all the way up to a pickle or Mayo jar. The silicone grips really well especially with the shape that it is in.
We have used a flat silicone disk in the past to open jars but this works so much better because you can get the grip and leverage you need. IT basically has the same feel as using a wrench or pair of pliers. As an added bonus it also makes for a great toy for the 18 month old who likes to hang out in the kitchen while we cook.
