This hose nozzle is one of the most heavy duty , durable nozzles I have every seen. It is made of 100% heavey duty metal and coated with a rubbery coating that will protect is from rust and corrosion.
The durability of this nozzle is what sets it apart from almost all other nozzles. It has many key features that you would expect from this type of product including the variable spray pattern to the trigger lock that keep the water flowing without have to continuously squeeze the trigger however the ergonomic handle is very comfortable and easy to hold onto even when wet.
Once part that I really like is the quick release feature on it but at the same time would like to see improved. Although the connector on the nozzle is metal the part that goes on the hose is all plastic. This product would be superior to almost any other nozzle if the connector was metal. The other issue that that did not hold up to my expectations was the fact that a quick connect is not as useful if you still have to turn off the water to connect to it. The hole in the quick connect does not have a valve in it that stays closed until it is opened by the presence of a quick connect nozzle being securely attached. The alternative at this point for me is to put a shut-off valve on the hose before the quick connect.
Because it did not function as I expected but still is a great product over all I will give this a 4 star rating.
