These are great pair of non-stick coated blades that cut through
almost anything!. I am putting these into my go bag or family first aid kit.
Like many of these types of shears, it had the bump on the lower edge to help
keep the blade from touching the individual as you cut their clothes off.
As you use the scissors you will hear the blades grinding together
which I assume means they are very effective in cutting. I was able to easily
cut through jean cloth and just for the heck of it tried to cut through a piece
of carpet. These shears went through the jean with ease and they also
were able to cut the carpet but it took some effort. The reason I did this test
with the carpet was to see how tough these really were. They stood up to the
test and gave me confidence that I would be able to get through even the
roughest and toughest of clothing such as canvas or seatbelts.
I give these a 5 out of 5 stars
for their ability to stand up to anything they may be needed for.
