I have been needing to change the lighting in my garage for
the past 4 years. The old style 60-75 watt bulbs (first picture) did an OK job but switching to
these lights is a huge improvement (second and third picture). When I switch on the lights it takes a
second or so for them to come on but once on the whole garage is bright. No
more straining my eyes at night.
I love that they use a standard E26 socket so they were just
as easy to install as a regular light bulb. One of then nice features is the 3
wings to the light can be pushed up to help direct the light towards the wall
instead of directing the light straight down. Having the three wings allow you
to customize and point the light where you need it. I would suggest doing this
once and then leaving it since they could get hot during extended periods of
use.
They seem to be well built and solid. With 50,000 hours of
use I won’t have to replace these light again for more than 5.5 years if I was
to run them 24 hours a day which will never happen.
