AYL TC80 4-in-1 LED Flashlight

This 4 in 1 is a very versatile flashlight. It is heavier than most that I have used but that is caused by the extremely durable made with aircraft-grade anodized aluminum that makes it water proof and shock proof. The 4 stages of this light are floodlight, Spot light, White bar light and flashing red bar. They get the different options with a combination of extending the handle and half-pressing the power button.

I bought this flashlight so for any reason including camping, hiking, work around the house and on my cars. It is very versatile and practically indestructible.

One of the selling points was the heavy magnet end. This is the best magnet I have found anywhere for this size of a light. Unfortunately sticking it to my hood while working around the engine is not very effective. If the head had a swivel to it so it can point in the direction if would have passed this test. Another selling point was the fact that is had many light functions. For me all the functions worked as expected (although not as bright as I thought it would be) as a function but were very tedious at times because the button seemed to be overly sensitive. The button is made to be fully pressed to turn on or off the power. While on you half-push the button to cycle though the options. Mine would work sometime but others it seemed like I barely touched it and it would change one or two functions. In an emergency situation this would be very reliable to have happen. The last feature that I love is the fact that the batter compartment is double sealed. In order to get to it you unscrew the end with the battery on it (with the light in the short position) and then unscrew a second cap. It takes 4 AAA batteries make be the cause of the dimmer light output.

Compared to other flashlights this one is high on my list. Not for its light output but because of its durability and ability to be used in many different situations. This light is practically indestructible to it will take many years of abuse without even showing. I give this a 4 star rating because overall it holds up to it claims but with the button being finicky at times I cannot rate it a 5.
