iPhone SE/5/5S/5C Cross+ Case+Protective Bumper

I received the iPhone SE/5/5S/5C Cross+ Case+Protective Bumper recently in the mail I realize that this is made for an iPhone 5 which is almost the same size as my iPod Touch with exception to the thickness which is a difference of .01. Another difference is the placement of the Volume buttons and lack of the mute switch on the iPod which I did not realize until after receiving this product. TO make up for the lack of thickness I told the suppler I would use some cereal box card board to make up the difference. It works well to hold the cover at the right thickness but defeats the purpose of having a clear back-unless you can find a cereal box with a cool image that fits. You could also print something to size as a paper insert for a customized look. My purpose in testing tis product was to see how well it would work for my iPod and see if it would marketable to other iPod users. My conclusion is that it is not. The biggest reason is the placement of the button cutouts on the side. The buttons sit deeper in the case due to the cross piece between the two holes pushing against the volume up button thus making the side of the case bow out a little bit. The other issue is the thickness of the case. You would not think that .01 would make a huge difference but the iPod wiggles around too much and the case falls apart. If you are looking for something on the cheap end that is not bulky or heavy this may work for you although iPhone users have mixed reviews on it. I am giving this 3 stars. It functions as described but the quality of the packaging if comes in is much more superior to the actual protective bumper. #gosh Note: I received this product for free or at a significant discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. This review is entirely based on my honest assessment and opinion after using the product and not influenced in any way by receiving a discount. All opinions are my own.
