Revtronic Ultra Bright LED Headlamp

Wow this headlight is packed with features. It has multiple brightness levels as well as a comfy strap and a battery saver or lockout mode.

Overall it has worked well for me but the included directions were a little unclear as to how to use the Lockout feature: The included instructions says: ”With the headlamp power off, hold the switch for 6 seconds, a blue lockout indicator will show up in the battery power meter window. To unlock, the same way the switch down for 6 seconds and release when the blue indicator activates again.”

I had to go online to get clarification because I thought it meant that I needed touch by the indicator like you do for the burst mode. This is NOT the case. Online clarifies that-“With the headlamp power off, hold the switch for 6 seconds, a bluelockout indicator will show up in the battery power meter window. Tounlock, the same way hold the switch down for 6 seconds and release when the blue indicator activate again.” This made a whole lot more sense.

I really like the headband itself. Most headbands on this kind of light are attached to the light and there is no way to move the sizing clips to a more comfortable place on your head. This headband allows you to rotate the band though the light to get those clips where you want them for comfort.

 


The swivel on the lamp head that allows you to point the light at various angles hold the light really well as well. I has practically head banging to get it to flop down and it wouldn’t. The battery compartment is also easy to access and use.

Overall I love this light. I plan on using it camping this weekend and it will also work for those car repair times when more light is needed and still keep my hands free.


I give this a 4 out of 5 stars. If the power save had been easier to understand in the beginning (one of the main reasons to choose this one) it would have got a full 5 stars.

Cleaning Sponge Pad Scrubber - 6 PACK

We used these on a green stain on the wall from their kids not being careful while using their dry erase chore charts. With just a little bit of water and a little scrubbing it came of great. It even showed us how dirty our walls were.

 

I am not sure what makes these so effective. Is it the way the foam pad is made or it it the magical oils that may be in them?

These seem to work just as well if not better than some of the other products similar these. with them being reusable (dependent on the chore and how long you us them) and coming in a box of 6 the pack will last awhile.

These are so fun to use my kids were trying to fight over who got to use it first!

We were in need of a new apple slicer, divider & corer since our other one is rusting and starting to fall apart. Chef Remi looked like it had a good reputation so we decided to try it. This one has a little bigger circumference and only cuts into sections while out other one cut into 10. That is not really a big deal to me in the end but worth pointing out. The bigger diameter allows us to cut more fruits and vegetables that our previous one. We have yet to try it on potatoes or onions.

I really like the ergonomically designed handles with the soft rubbery grips. This is really nice since it absorbs the pressure and tension and keeps your knuckles from hitting the counter as much depending on the size of your hands.

This is easy and safe for my kids to use as long as they remember that this is still considered a knife and they need to use appropriate caution.

Another selling point is that this is easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

I can’t find anything wrong with it so I am giving it a 5 out of 5 stars!

See video on Amazon.com  This is another fun toy from CifToys. We have the 1380 Airplane and wanted another toy from this company.

This also train like the airplane has a bump and go feature which keeps it moving and causes it to change directions so that the little (or in my case big ones as well) don’t have to constantly adjust its path making it more fun to watch and play with.

The smoke stack is the only piece you have to put on the train after filling it up with the included bubble solution. You will need a screwdriver to open the battery compartment to insert the batteries but other than that it is easy to use right out of the package.

I want to mention that the title says “3 and Up”. I was hoping my 18 month old would love this toy especially since it shoots bubbles out the top but unfortunately she was scared of it since it had a mind of its own roaming around the kitchen and obviously was going to get her.

Speaking of the train roaming around it should also be mentioned that this toy does really well on hard surfaced flooring like our linoleum kitchen floor but works little to none as you get it on carpet. The shaggier it is the less it works. Overall this is what I expected so it was not a disappointment for me. It also works well on our concrete walkways and driveway.

See video on Amazon.com  This electric airplane is awesome. All my kids love it and would play with it all day long if I let them. Ok so to be honest the 18 month old iscared of it. I think that is because the motor runs and it randomly changes directions as it bumps into walls and other obsticles which is nice because other self propelled toys have to be picked up and moved when they hit something. No more getting by having to move it back to a clear area. With that being said I would use it on hard surfaced floors like the lenoloum in our kithcen. Most of our floors are carpeted and it does not have enough power to move very well or at all. This also means that it also strugggles in the yeard but is great on out walkways, side walk (only use on non-busy roads in case it goes into the street) and our driveway.

The lights and sounds are what really get my kids attention although my boys will play with it even when the batteries die. The quality of the materials seem to be good as well. The only assembly you have to do is connect the wings which just snap into place and unscrew the battery compartment to put in the batteries. Once the wings are in they seem to stay in with no problems.

5 stars for an awesome toy that occupies even the 12 year old for hours.

This is a great hidden camera to use for security because of its barebones approach. The camera is as small as a small button so it can be sewn into clothing for a discreet look or it can be mounted in a book on a book shelf or on top of a picture frame. The possibilities are endless.

The recording methods give you a lot for freedom as well from motion sensor recording and snapshots to continuously recording video. You can use a microSD card or have your computer or device do the recording.

The set up on my device was a little tricky the first time. I am not sure if it was me not following the direction appropriately or if it was my Wi-Fi that was not cooperating. The hard part with all of this as the setup manual which was small and translated from Chinese. This made it both hard to read and a little confusing without the proper English.

Overall I like this product a lot and look forward to using it to guard my Oreo’s or my snack closet.

4 out of 5 stars. If the setup had gone easier and the manual was in English then this would have had a perfect 5 star rating.

My wife is fairly new to sewing so in the past she has just tried to do everything with the basic foot and a few others that came with here machine. This set allows her to have the right foot for the right task and be able to branch out and try new things the right way.

The description says “The kit made of durable hard metal material.” This is true but realize there are some that also have plastic parts. There are 5 or 6 that are completely plastic except for the little rod that connects the foot to the machine and a few others that have I am assuming that is a necessary thing otherwise they would have used metal.

My set came in a display style cardboard box with a form fitted plastic insert and cover. It appears that the new version comes in a sectioned plastic case with a snap-shut lid. I mention this because both versions have their pros and cons to them as far as packaging goes.

Cardboard box version:
Pros:
• Each foot has its own place in the display type box for easy organizing and identification.
• Looks great for display
• Comes with a great reference chart
Cons:
• This case can’t be packed very well unless it is stored flat.
• Takes up a lot of space on the sewing desk or in a drawer
• Great reference chart is printed on the bottom of the cardboard case

Divided plastic box version:
Pros:
• The feet stay securely in the box when transporting them
• Does not take up as much space on the sewing desk or in a drawer
Cons:
• Much harder to identify what each foot is
• Not displayable
• Not sure if it comes with a great reference chart ( I submitted a of it picture below)

I highly recommend this. It’s like a one size fits all type of kit. It has everything you need. It does come with some of the common feet that come with a sewing machine so you will end up with a few duplicates if you already have feet but having them all together with in one spot is great.

This is a great addition to anyone who loves to take pictures or video on their phone or other devices. I love that lenses screw on to the clip and that it is easy to use. All three lenses are made of solid and sturdy anodized aluminum which is the same material iPhones are made of.

This kit really is as easy as it looks. Just clip it on and screw on a lens. The clip opens pretty wide to is can be used on top of probably any protective cover that you currently use. The actual lens is made of a premium optical HD lanthanide glass which they claim gives optimal clarity.

230 degree Fisheye lens

0.65X Wide Angle Lens

15X Macro Lens (out of focus because it is not 1 inch away from the lens.)

To help with the clarity this kit comes with a microfiber cleaning cloth as well as plastic caps on either side of the lens but it does not come with a carrying case to keep it all together. The listing did not say they were including a carry bag so I knew that before I ordered it.

Overall it does its job well. The lenses are clear and clean and easy to use. I have really enjoyed using this set so I am giving it 5 out of 5 stars.

Orthopedic Knee Pillow

This is a great pillow for any kind of back, hip and knee pain especially as you sleep. It is made of a high density memory foam which takes the pressure of the legs and knees but also holds up well without unnecessary squishing.  The cover is nice and soft to the touch and very breathable. It also can be unzipped and put in the washer so that it can be cleaned. 

NOTICE: The picture shows the zipper at one end but mine is down the length of the side. I think this must be a design upgrade since it is easier to get it out the side than on the end where the other large end would have to be squished more.

This is comfortable to use but does move or fall out when you shift positions if you don’t squeeze it as you move. Other companies have a strap that goes from side to side that wraps over the top of one leg so that this is not a problem. We knew that this one did not come with one and didn’t realize that it would make that big of a difference but it probably would. We knew that this one did not come with the strap so I can’t take away a star rating for that. If ComfiLife wanted to improve the product I think that they should provide a removable strap.

Overall this does the job well and is comfortable.

This is a great set of headphones. They are comfortable to wear for hours at a time because of the self adjusting head band and hollow ear cups. They are sure to get the attention of others with the slow changing glow that is always coming from the sides as long as it is powered by a USB port.

Besides the fit the most important part of these is the sound. They give a great experience and wide range of sound. I love that the bass is so rich that it causes a vibration that you can which help get you more into your music or game. The headphones also has a fixed microphone so you don’t have to worry about it getting in the way but this also means you can’t reposition it you have a favorite sweet spot. The microphone also has a noise canceling feature so you come through clearly for others to hear.

The 7Ft cord also provides me with more than enough length to move around and not feel tied down.

Freshware 15-Pack 3 Compartment Bento Lunch Boxes with Lids

These containers are great! The come in a nice compact stack and are generously sized.

They have 3 sections. A large on that is full length and about half the width and the other two take up the other half of the width. The are great for bringing left overs for lunch and not having to bring multiple containers for portions like I used to. If I want I can take the leftovers from a dinner and portion them out to multiple days and then they are just grab and go in the morning.

A few things I want to mention that I tried but did not work as I had hoped. The first is that the size of the container is too big to fit in my 6-pack lunch bag. This is not a huge deal since I only have a 15 minute drive to work and have a fridge in my office. The second issue be aware of is that the cover is not sectioned like the container so if it gets turned on its side the foods will mix.

Like I said the size is great. When the cover is on tight it does not leak. They are also reusable because they can be put in a dishwasher (top rack) as well as microwave and freezer safe.

I loves these and give them 5 stars

See video on Amazon.com  I love this gun for many reasons. The two main features is the powter selection switch with the LED to show it is heating and the trigger.

The power setting is great because it help determine how how the glue will be coming out. at the 100 Watt setting it flows very quickly so it is great for large amounts at one time so that it does not cool before you are finished. The 60 Watt setting makes a thicker glue and cools quicker.

I really love the trigger as well. It has room for three fingers which helps with better control of the glue coming out. Other glue guns especially the mini size only have room for one finger.

One last reason I love this is the fact that it is yellow so it stands out as mine and not my wife's.

I can only give this a 4 out of 5 stars because the safety stand i feel needs a little work. If i am careful in putting the gun down the stand will hold it but it I need to put it down quickly it doesn't always hold it and the tip ends up touching my work surface. If the stand held the gun up better it would have definitely been a 5 star product
